Last Friday Night , the Australia Light Foundation (ALF) hosted a Youth Pizza & FIFA24 Night that perfectly blended fun, unity and brotherhood. The evening started with our weekly Islamic lecture, where over 25 young participants joined to talk about the importance of brotherhood and being sincere with one another. A key topic to reflect upon and grow with.
After the lecture, everyone headed to the ALF social club, where the FIFA excitement began. Ten teams of two players each, randomly paired, took part in a FIFA24 tournament. The ages ranged from 12 to 36, which led to some interesting matchups and new friendships. The competition was tough, with every little mistake making a big difference in who advanced. As the tournament progressed, the atmosphere was tense with no clear winner able to be picked.
Halfway through, the FIFA action paused for a pizza break, giving everyone a chance to sit down, eat, and chat. It was a great moment to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The night wasn’t just about the competition—it was about bonding, breaking down barriers, and celebrating our brotherhood.
The final match saw Mustafa Guzel and Mehmet Anli going up against Enes Guzel and Taha Ozer. Despite a strong effort, Mustafa and Mehmet couldn’t take the win, and the championship went to Enes and Taha.
As the night wrapped up, it was clear that everyone left with a stronger sense of connection and some great memories.
The ALF Youth also selected a Best Young Player from the tournament and that was none other than Finalist Mehmet Anli who was on his A game throughout the night and combined brilliantly with his partner Mustafa Guzel.
In his short interview he said the following:
"I have been playing since Fifa 17" and "I am a cold player".
The Best Young Player runner up was Emin Bal.
