It is that beautiful time of the year again, it is our beloved Ramadan!
ALF is thrilled to announce the dates for the ALF Community Iftaar in 2024. For over a decade, these gatherings at the Australia Light Foundation (ALF) have been a heartfelt tradition, bringing together Muslim brothers and sisters from all nationalities, walks of life and communities to break their fasts and bread with their brothers and sisters in Islam free of charge with some beautiful, tasty foods.
This year, ALF invites you to join us on March 16th, March 23rd, and March 30th, 2024, as we break our fast together in unity, brotherhood and sincere love. Whether you're a regular attendee or it's your first time, all of you are welcome to share in the spirit of togetherness and unity.
We will also be having some special guests joining us on select evenings – members of our local and state government bodies and also the good friends of our community. It's a beautiful opportunity for us to show them the true positive face of Muslims who come together, build connections, and strengthen our community bonds.
At the heart of it all, the ALF Community Iftaar embodies the essence of Islam – love, empowerment, and togetherness. So, mark your calendars and be part of this wonderful celebration of faith and fellowship. We can't wait to share these meaningful moments with you!
Last but not least, the Australia Light Foundation comes to you with a beautiful opportunity to also provide iftaar overseas for our less fortunate brothers and sisters in Ethiopia, North Sudan, Somalia and a Syrian Refugee camp in Arsal, Lebanon.
The ALF Relief Fund aims to feed up to 7000 people this Ramadan and you can join in and be apart of the beautiful reward and be one in solidarity with your less fortunate brothers and sisters in the Ummah.
